A few weeks ago, we went over to the St. Petersburg Museum of Fine Arts. This was our first time at this location but it was worth it. Katie and Andy were very excited on the morning of the wedding. They, like many other couples, were nervous during the preparation. They did have a first look to look forward to though. More than anything, they didn’t want to have to deal with the busyness of the day. But who can blame them? Weddings can always be very hectic to begin with. After all of the set up was done, we had just enough time to squeeze in a first look. So we did it right outside of the St. Petersburg Museum of Fine Arts. The location was absolutely gorgeous and allowed us to enhance the emotions that they felt.
Once the first look was over, we went right in to the ceremony. The ceremony had the attendants facing the pier with all of the fishing boats in the background. This made for some beautiful photos. The light was perfect and allowed us to capture the moment of the day. Also there was a big tree that just completed the rest of the scenery.
After the ceremony was over, we had a lot of fun taking some fun photos with the bridal party. We then went right in to the reception where they did the toasts. We’ve been to a lot of weddings, but these were the funniest toasts that we have ever heard. We, along with everyone else in the audience, couldn’t stop laughing. It was absolutely hilarious. It’s always funny when the best man talks about the good memories from high school. Either way, everyone had a great time dancing and socializing all night. Later that night, everyone got treated to an unsuspected fireworks show. There was a festival going on across the water and right when Katie and Andy’s reception was ending, they started the firework show. It lasted for a long time and we got some amazing photos of them in the process.
